The Office of the Senior Advisor to the President on Indigenous Relations and Outreach and the Office of the Vice-President, Research and Innovation are pleased to announce that the first Indigenous Research and Scholarship Forum will take place on May 9, 2023. This full day conference, hosted both virtually and in-person, which will educate our campus community on Indigenous research, scholarship, and methodologies with Indigenous elders, scholars, and students.

Location: Alumni Auditorium, CAW Student Centre
Hosted jointly by the Offices of the Senior Advisor to the President on Indigenous Relations and Outreach and the Vice-President, Research and Innovation, this full-day, hybrid conference, aims to educate our campus community on Indigenous research, scholarship, and methodologies. In-person participants will convene at the Alumni Auditorium in the CAW Student Centre where all conference sessions will take place. The forum will feature keynote addresses by Mi’kmaq Elder Albert Marshall, Dr. Kathleen Absolon (Anishinaabe kwe), and Dr. Marie Battiste (Mi’kmaq) along with presentations by University of Windsor's Indigenous faculty, staff, and students.
