Natasha Wiebe
Dr. Natasha Wiebe is Research Coordinator – Arts, Humanities, & Social Sciences in the Office of Research and Innovation Services (ORIS) at the University of Windsor. In that role, she has supported over 1,000 funding applications submitted to SSHRC and other agencies.
Natasha has helped coordinate over 100 workshops and other events for researchers. These include grant-writing groups and popular, innovative writing retreat series about which she has presented at the provincial and national conferences of the Canadian Association for Research Administration, with peer-reviewed articles published in the Journal of Research Administration (Wiebe, Pratt & Noel, "Academic Writing Retreats," 2023; Wiebe & Maticka-Tyndale, More and Better Grant Proposals," 2017). Natasha’s work, together with that of her colleagues at ORIS, has been recognized with a University of Windsor Services Excellence Award - Team.
Natasha holds degrees from the University of Windsor, and from the University of Western Ontario where she completed her SSHRC-supported doctorate in Educational Studies (2010). She holds an Ontario Teaching Certificate and is Adjunct Associate Professor in the Faculty of Education at the University of Windsor.
