Natasha Wiebe

Dr. Natasha Wiebe is Research Coordinator for Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences in the Office of Research and Integrity Services (ORIS) at the University of Windsor. While at ORIS, she has supported more than 1,000 grant applications to SSHRC and other funding agencies. During her career at the University of Windsor, she has coordinated over 100 professional development workshops and research support events.

Natasha is particularly interested in helping researchers develop strong, competitive funding applications and sustainable writing practices. She has co-led grant-writing groups and helped develop innovative academic writing retreat programs that have been featured at provincial and national conferences of the Canadian Association of Research Administrators and explored in the Journal of Research Administration, including More and Better Grant Proposals (Wiebe & Maticka-Tyndale, 2017) and Academic Writing Retreats (Wiebe, Pratt & Noel, 2023).

Her contributions to research support have been recognized with two University of Windsor Service Excellence Awards (2014, 2025). Natasha holds an Ontario Teaching Certificate and degrees from the University of Windsor and Western University, where she completed a SSHRC-funded PhD in Educational Studies.
