Ingrid Qemo
Dr. Ingrid Qemo is the Research Coordinator - Health in the Office of Research and Innovation Services (ORIS) at the University of Windsor. In this role, she advises and supports health researchers submitting proposals to large health funding agencies such as CIHR, National Institutes of Health (U.S.), Public Health Agency of Canada, Canadian Cancer Society, and the Cancer Research Society, among others. Ingrid developed and launched the CIHR Internal/External Review Program for UWindsor faculty applying to CIHR Project Grant competitions. Additionally, she administers and coordinates research grant programs including Seeds4Hope Grants, Cancer Care Grants, and the WE-SPARK Igniting Discovery Grants.
Ingrid received her PhD, which was entirely supported by Ontario Graduate Scholarships, in 2018, focusing on the area of cellular reprogramming and tumorigenesis. Ingrid worked in research management and grant facilitation at the Brain Tumour Research Centre at the Hospital for Sick Children prior to returning to the University of Windsor in her current role.
