This session will address the need to have a serious discussion with students about GenAI usage in the classroom. Approaches to GenAI will differ vastly by faculty member and by discipline, but its presence in our classrooms cannot be ignored. This session will discuss approaches that will include helping students think ethically about GenAI usage and how to focus on what we really need them to learn.
