Transportation to and from Oakland University

The Centre for Teaching and Learning has chartered a bus to provide University of Windsor participants with transportation free of charge to the conference at Oakland University on Wednesday May 9th, and Thursday, May 10th, 2012. The charter bus ride will provide an opportunity for extended networking among Windsor delegates!

As we are finalizing the transportation arrangements, we ask you to indicate, in the Transportation Form found in the Downloads section, which day(s) you are attending and whether you require a ride one way or both ways (in case you're staying overnight).

University of Windsor pick-up is on Sunset Avenue in front of Lambton Tower, across from the Odette Building (see campus map).

Bus schedule (subject to change)

• Wed. May 9th, gather at 10:45 a.m., bus departs UofW at 11:00 a.m. to arrive at Oakland at 12:30 p.m. (Oakland will provide a light lunch upon your arrival)
• Wed. May 9th, gather at 6:30 p.m., bus departs Oakland at 6:45 p.m. to arrive at UofW at 8:15 p.m.
• Thurs. May 10th, gather at 6:45 a.m., bus departs UofW at 7:00 a.m. to arrive at Oakland at 8:30 a.m.
• Thurs. May 10th, gather at 3:00 p.m., bus departs Oakland at 3:15 p.m. to arrive at UofW at 4:45 p.m.

Please ensure you have your passports with you for the border crossings.
If you are missing any documentation, it will unnecessarily delay the other passengers.

If you don't have a passport, you will need a government issued picture identification, plus at least one more piece of identification.

We have been advised that most International students need a US Visa (B1/B2) to cross the border to attend the conference.
