Paul Moffatt
Paul Moffatt, a physics Ph.D. candidate, has 8 years experience teaching a wide range of undergraduate physics labs, from first year physics up to senior level advanced labs. Paul was twice awarded a Graduate Student Teach Award at the University of Alberta. While trained as a theoretician, Paul firmly believes that understanding science concepts is most easily accomplished through hands on learning and experimentation. Paul's approach to teaching relies heavily on one-on-one interaction with students and trying to relate the material to real-world concepts that students are already familiar with. This will be the second time Paul facilitated this GATAcademy workshop.
