The EDC Conference Bursary fund is intended to support participation in the conference by colleagues who may otherwise experience a financial challenge. We invite all full-time undergraduate and graduate students, and any educational developers to apply to the EDC bursary fund to receive financial assistance to attend the conference. Applicants should be EDC members and presenting, students do not need to be members but should be presenting or providing an alternative contribution.
The amount of each bursary will be determined based on the financial need of each recipient, up to a maximum of the cost of conference and pre-conference fees. The exact amount of the bursary will depend on the number of successful applications.
To apply to the fund, please include your name and contact information, the name of your institution and your program, your position title and employer (if you are currently working in the field of educational development) and a 250-word statement indicating why you wish to attend the conference and how your attendance will further your professional development and career planning. Please email your application to Celia Popovic, EDC Vice-Chair, Conferences by Friday, December 18, 2015.
