Karen Bonasso
Karen Bonasso is the Head of the Access Services Department in Leddy Library. She is dedicated to information literacy in a way that students understand, especially when it comes to assignments. She began the “early bird research program” in 2001 and has worked with professors at the university level to shape assignments for undergraduate students in Psychology and Sociology. For the last five years, Karen has also been the manager of information literacy at the Windsor Public library teaching librarians how to research. She believes that life-long learning is a large part of the information literacy trend, starting with the professor, to the students, and finally, the finished assignment.
