Jess Dixon
Jess Dixon is a Professor of Sport Management in the Department of Kinesiology. He is currently on leave from his role as Head of the Department of Kinesiology while serving as Chair of the Return to Campus Action Group. He previously served as Acting Dean of the Faculty of Human Kinetics during the 2020-2021 academic year. Jess is an Emeritus Editor-in-Chief of Case Studies in Sport Management, a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to publishing teaching cases in the field of sport management, and has presented his work at several teaching and learning conferences on the topics of case pedagogy, student mentoring, and peer observation. He is a member of the Peer Collaboration Network and was a recipient of the ‘Excellence in Mentoring Award’ from the University of Windsor Alumni Association in 2016 and the Wayne Marino Faculty of Human Kinetics Teaching Excellence Award in 2019.
