Eileen Herteis
Eileen Herteis is Director of the Purdy Crawford Teaching Centre at Mount Allison University, a position she has held since May, 2004. Until March 2004, she was the Programme Director at the University of Saskatchewan’s Gwenna Moss Teaching and Learning Centre. Before that, Eileen was Programme Coordinator at the Office of Instructional Development and Technology at Dalhousie University.
Eileen is the proud recipient of the University of Saskatchewan’s President’s Service Award, given to recognize her contributions to teaching and learning at that institution.
Eileen has given presentations throughout Canada, in the Caribbean, US and UK. She spent two years on the Steering Committee of the Society for Teaching and Learning in Higher Education; was a member of the editorial group for the popular STLHE Green Guide Series; served four times on the Selection Committee for the 3M National Teaching Fellowships; and has served on the Executive of the Educational Developers’ Caucus. Eileen has just completed two terms as chair of the Association of Atlantic Universities’ Coordinating Committee on Faculty Development.
