William (Bill) Wellington
Dr. William J. Wellington is an Associate Professor with tenure in the Odette School of Business at the University of Windsor where he has worked for over 30 years. He is currently the Director of the Master of Management Program in the Odette School of Business. He has also held administrative posts as an Associate Dean and Marketing Area Chair. His business discipline is marketing and he has taught marketing classes at the undergraduate and graduate level in Principles of Marketing, Marketing Management, Marketing Strategy and Advertising over his career. He has taught Principles of Marketing to undergraduates in large lecture sections for nearly twenty-five years. Teaching modalities have included on-campus lecture delivery, distance education delivery, and condensed weekend delivery. Dr. Wellington has used the VicKi, Clew and Blackboard LMS systems directly in his teaching and is also familiar with D2L. Dr. Wellington’s major research interest is in Marketing and Marketing Education. A Past President of ABSEL (the Association for Business Simulation and Experiential Learning), he has authored or co-authored 10 text books, edited three books, contributed two book chapters, 10 journal articles, and 47 Conference papers and delivered numerous addresses and talks.
