Carolyn Hoessler
Carolyn, a Curriculum Development Consultant in the Office of the Vice Provost Academic at Ryerson University, is passionate for working with processes and people to create flow, meaningful work and alignment in curriculum, assessment, SoTL, and evaluation. A collaborative educator, researcher and facilitator, she aims to improve the experiences and successes of students, faculty, instructors, and educational developers. In the classroom, Carolyn is an instructor of graduate quantitative and qualitative research methods, along with professional workshops and courses in analysis, research design, facilitation and teaching. She is also an interdisciplinary and team research facilitator, a trained ISW facilitator, co-tutor of the International Introduction to educational development course, lead of the EDC Evaluating Educational Development action group, and a 2016 recipient of EDC's Educational Developer Leadership Award.
