Lauren Weller
Lauren holds a BSc Honours Degree from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa, and spent 10 years working as an environmental manager in the mining industry before returning to academia where she is currently completing an MSc in Environmental Science at the Great Lakes Institute for Environmental Research (GLIER). She is also the Farming and Freshwater Ecology Research Network (FERN) Project Coordinator in the Healthy Headwaters Lab and a summer student working on Curriculum Services in the University’s Centre for Teaching and Learning. Lauren is passionate about teaching and learning and has completed the University Teaching Certificate through the Centre for Teaching and Learning. She plans on pursuing teaching full time upon completion of her MSc.
