Arezoo Emadi
Arezoo Emadi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Windsor. She joined the University of Windsor in July 2017. She received her Ph.D. degree from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Manitoba, her Licentiate Degree from the Department of Microtechnology and Nanoscience at the Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden, and her certificate in Higher Education Teaching from the University of Manitoba. She is a Senior Member of IEEE and a Professional Engineer, PEng. Her research activities revolve around the area of Micro Electromechanical Systems (MEMS), medical MEMS sensors and transducers, bio and chemical sensors, and micro and nanofabrication technology. She has led academic and industry cross-functional projects to introduce and implement next-generation micromachined smart sensor systems in a wide range of fields that make abundant use of sensors and transducers. She is the recipient of the Research Excellence Award in 2019, Medal of Excellence in Online Teaching in 2020, and Medal of Excellence in Service in 2021 at the University of Windsor.
