Angela Awada-Roberto
Angela Awada-Roberto is a fourth-year PhD candidate in the Rondeau-Gagné Research Group at the University of Windsor, specializing in the design of advanced functional polymers. Over the course of her graduate studies, Angela has served as a Graduate Assistant for 15 courses across 12 academic terms, earning the 2024 Faculty of Science GA Excellence Award in recognition of her contributions to teaching and student support. Driven by a deep passion for learning and science communication, Angela actively seeks opportunities to refine her instructional skills. She has completed certifications through nationally recognized workshops, including L.E.A.D. (Lifelong Education and Development) and Design Thinking in STEM Education, led by teaching experts and faculty across Canada. Through her own academic journey, Angela has come to deeply value the importance of fostering inclusive and empowering learning environments. She is committed to ensuring students not only feel supported but also develop the resilience and confidence needed to thrive academically.
