Armita Fatemimoghadam
Armita is a Ph.D. candidate in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Windsor, specializing in advanced control of electric motor drives for EV applications. She serves as President of CUPE Local 4580 and Chair of the IEEE IES Windsor Section. With over eight semesters of experience as a GA and Head GA, she is deeply committed to inclusive teaching and student mentorship. She has facilitated workshops on student rights and academic professionalism in collaboration with CUPE and the CTL. Armita recently completed the Graduate Diploma in University Teaching, further demonstrating her dedication to reflective and innovative teaching practices.
