WednesdAI Walkthroughs: Selecting AI tools
The WednesdAI Walkthroughs are a series of short, practically focused AI sessions held on the third Wednesday of the month in Teams. The sessions are open to everyone, and will cover a wide range of topics aimed at helping you decide when and how to use these tools responsibly. From the latest developments, to how colleagues are using AI in their work, the WednesdAI Walkthroughs will give you quick, practical insights.
In this month's session, we explore ways to decide which AI model to use for different purposes.

AI Curious Community - Ongoing Discussions
The community meets the last Monday of every month.
AI is all around us, becoming embedded in our technologies and daily practice. The AI Curious Community provides a space for all members of the University of Windsor community to have an ongoing conversation about AI and how it is impacting their work, learning, teaching, and research. These informal sessions are offered at noon on the last Monday of every month and are open to everyone as a hybrid event with in-person (CEI 1232 holds about 20 people comfortably) and online (unlimited seats in Teams) participation options. The goal is to discuss what's working, what support you need, the big challenges we face, things we have tried, successes, and the big questions we still have about these powerful technologies. Some months will have a theme, in others we may discuss a new development or publication, in others we may be showcasing what the group has tried in their own work. Whether you have time to drop in for a few mins for a quick chat, can only come occasionally, or can come to every session, we look forward to sharing and discussing all the implications of this rapidly evolving technology.
Note: space is limited in our workshop room so if you plan to attend in person, please register
