To work towards decolonization in teaching and learning, we are required to find pathways of action. Through discussions with various champions of equity, inclusion, diversity and decolonization work across campus, we have started the development of an actionable framework to begin these first steps through teacher-student relationships. During the first half of this workshop, we will share our working definitions and application of the framework. During the second half, we will invite critical discourse to obtain your evaluative feedback about the applicability of the framework. Through your feedback, our goal is to identify gaps, strengths, and challenges within the framework, as well as consider its applicability within the University.
This session will be offered as Hyflex. If you would like to attend through Teams, please email Natalie Beltrano (natalie.beltrano@uwindsor.ca) directly
