CTL Registration

Register for CTL workshops, events, courses and programs

Welcome! Please log in.

The Centre for Teaching and Learning's Brightspace Workshop series provides in-person and on-line synchronous learning opportunities. In-person workshops for faculty/staff are offered in two varieties:

Step-by-Step: relaxed, slower-paced sessions and
Quick Steps: faster, technically driven sessions.

Start your Brightspace training with the Getting Started with Brightspace workshop to provide the basis for the more advanced workshops.

Once you are registered for a workshop, if you find you will not be able to attend, kindly unregister for the workshop so facilitators can plan activities accordingly.

“Online“QuickNeed to learn Brightspace? Start with this workshop. This workshop will introduce participants to the Brightspace environment and provide an overview of the tools in Brightspace. Participants will walk through the process of structuring course content in Brightspace, and uploading and creating content. Focus will be placed on learning the features that are found throughout Brightspace, such as the html editor and visibility options, to help create engaging learning material. The Announcements tool, sending class emails, adding TAs, and where to find support resources will also be included.

** This workshop is an expected prerequisite before taking other Brightspace workshops.

Quick Steps: This option will offer a fast-paced more technically driven step-by-step workshop. This category is suitable for the learner who possesses a high comfort level in learning and adopting new technology.

If you prefer slower paced instruction and no Step-by-Step workshop is offered, please email brightspace@uwindsor.ca.

A link to a Teams meeting will be sent to you the day before the workshop.
