Faculty demonstrated the use of clicker technology in the classroom and shared student feedback on "clicking practices". The session explored how to get started and how to employ many of the techniques used by individual faculty. Attendees learned more about “digitally” involving students in their classrooms, incorporating student feedback, and creating a livelier, more interactive learning experience.

This Centre for Teaching and Learning workshop focused on recognizing and coping with stress and/or depression in your students, friends, and/or family’s lives.
The goals of the workshop included:
- identifying students, and other people in your life who may be at risk,
- identifying emotions that might "shut you down" or block your effectiveness, when dealing with students behaviours,
- referring students to the appropriate resources on campus
- learning about appropriate intervention techniques
- dealing with disturbing content in emails, essays, etc.
