Shawna Scott
Shawna Scott is a GA, research assistant, and second-year graduate student in Child Clinical Psychology. During her undergraduate studies in Developmental Psychology, she took on a leadership role as a Head TA for Foundations of Academic Writing, a unique online course. Shawna went beyond her expected TA duties as she co-organized and presented a writing workshop for students during UWin week, assisted in TA orientation workshops, co-authored a manual for TA training, and attended numerous professional development workshops. She is also a registered Early Childhood Educator, and her current research interests include risk and resilience processes, emotional competence in children, mental health, and family psychology. Shawna was a recipient of the 2010-2011 GA/TA Award for Educational Leadership.
