Kristi Thompson
Kristi is the Data Librarian at the University of Windsor. Before coming to the University of Windsor in 2006 to help found the Academic Data Centre, a specialised service point for working with statistics and data, she provided statistical consulting and programming as a Data Services Specialist at Princeton University. In her first contract library position in 2000 she was involved with the development of the Internet Data Library System at the University of Western Ontario, and she has also worked as a freelance digital librarian and web developer. She has a BA in Computer Science and Classics and a Masters in Library Science, and has published and spoken widely on the topic of teaching and learning with data.
