Bailey McMeans
Bailey McMeans is a science-loving, fish-hugging, aquatic ecologist who recently finished her PhD at the Great Lakes Institute for Environmental Research at the University of Windsor. Since completing her B.Sc. in 2004, Bailey has focused her energy predominantly on academic pursuits, and has spent most of her time researching the physiology and ecology of marine creatures. She also has a passion for teaching, which has sprinkled her graduate career in the form of TAing, guest lecturing and mentoring Grade 8 girls about opportunities for women in science. Bailey has changed immensely as a person and a scientist over the course of her graduate career, and is terrified, a little sad, and very excited to move on the next phase.
