Phil Graniero
Dr. Graniero is an Associate Professor, teaching in the Earth & Environmental Sciences department for 15 years. Before that he was a graduate GA for 7 years and an undergraduate TA for 2 years at Waterloo and Toronto. He has been in the classroom teaching problem-solving labs every one of those years in a variety of physical geography and GIS courses, building students' skills with math and software tools. He learned by trial-and-error, but must have done something right: as an undergraduate he received an Outstanding GA Award. He likes helping others skip some of the trial-and-error bits.
