Irene Muir
Irene Muir is a current PhD candidate in the Department of Kinesiology, specializing in the area of Sport and Exercise Psychology. Her research focuses on dancers’ use of imagery as a performance enhancing technique, as well as the influence of physical activity on mental health. Throughout her graduate studies, Irene has served as a GA and sessional instructor in the area of sport psychology and motor learning/development. She has also presented at the Windsor- Oakland Teaching and Learning conference on the topic of professional development among faculty members in higher education. Irene is currently part of the University Teaching Certificate program where she is further developing her teaching knowledge and practice. She aspires to teach at a university in the future.
