Emily Varga
Emily Varga is a recent PhD graduate from the Great Lakes Institute for Environmental Research at the University of Windsor. Currently, she is a sessional instructor for the Integrative Biology department (IBio), and is managing the Karpowicz lab on campus, where they conduct intestinal cancer research. During her PhD studies, she was a graduate assistant for IBio for 5 years and was President of CUPE 4580 for 3 terms. During that time, Emily also sat on multiple committees at the University to ensure fair, equitable and safe employment of all CUPE 4580 members.
