Mason Sheppard
Mason is a third-year doctoral candidate in the Department of Kinesiology. He is a member of the Sport Psychology and Physical Activity Research Collaborative (SPPARC) where he researches shared athlete leadership and its impact of team cohesion. Mason has been a Graduate Assistant (GA) for 5 years (9 semesters) over the course of his Master’s in Kinesiology and Ph.D. Mason has had the opportunity to be a GA both in an online environment, and in-person. Being a GA has been an integral experience throughout Mason’s graduate studies, where he has enjoyed working with students, studying various concepts, and developing fundamental teaching skills that will positively impact his future goals!
