Joy-Lynn Kobti
Joy-Lynn Kobti is a third-year Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry. She works in the field of materials chemistry, with the aim of controlling pharmaceutical release. Joy is highly involved in her department and in the Faculty of Science, always looking for ways to improve the undergraduate lab curriculum. She was a TA in her fourth year of undergrad and is now a GA for secondand third-year chemistry courses. Joy is also involved in a recruitment initiative within the department known as WinChem, where she leads chemistry experiments and demos in high school classrooms.
