Mark Potter
Mark Potter is a third-year PhD candidate in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Windsor. Since starting his graduate studies, he has served as a Graduate Assistant/Teaching Assistant (GA/TA) for five different courses and received the 2023 GA/TA Award for Educational Practice from the University of Windsor. In addition to his GA/TA roles, Mark has strengthened his teaching skills through various positions, including Peer Assisted Learning Session (PALS) Leader, and Students Offering Support (SOS) Tutor. Also, he has co-presented at several teaching-related conferences on topics such as the effective use of supplemental instruction both online and in-person. Mark is committed to the belief that an effective GA/TA plays a crucial role in the academic success of students in courses and laboratories.
