Mark Potter
Mark Potter is a fourth-year PhD candidate in the Chemistry and Biochemistry department at the University of Windsor. He has served as a GA/TA for many courses and was recognized with the 2023 GA/TA Award for Educational Practice. Mark has strengthened his teaching ability through roles as a Peer Assisted Learning Session (PALS) Leader, and a Students Offering Support (SOS) Tutor. He has co-presented at several teaching conferences and has co-facilitated the Grading Greatness: A GA/TA’s Guide to Assessment and Feedback workshops for the GATAcademy. Mark is dedicated to supporting student success and believes effective GA/TAs play a key role in enhancing the learning experience of students in courses and labs.
