Getting Started with Brightspace: Designing Your Online Components
Effective use of digital learning tools can enhance your course design and support student learning. This hands-on workshop introduces participants to the essential tools and features of the Brightspace learning management system. Learn how to organize course material, create and upload content, and use the html editor and visibility settings to help create engaging learning material. You’ll also learn how to use Brightspace to communicate with students, how to add teaching assistants, and where to access support when needed. By the end of this session, participants will be ready to begin building online components of their courses in Brightspace.
Note: A computer will be required to participate in this workshop and we encourage you to bring your own laptop to the session. Please advise the instructor (email agalka@uwindsor.ca) if you will be unable to bring one so that one can be made available for you.
** This workshop is an expected prerequisite before taking other Brightspace workshops.
