Mark Lubrick

Mark Lubrick earned his Bachelor and Master degrees in Physics and his Bachelor of Education from the University of Windsor. He is a Learning Specialist in the Office of Open Learning, where he gets to help instructors design online courses and demonstrate the kind of tools that can make online education more fun and engaging (pre-recorded and live videos, interactive scenarios, gamification, lightboard, drone, etc.). He has also worked for years as a Sessional Instructor in the Department of Physics and has a true passion for teaching and accessible practices. He is constantly looking for opportunities to improve his knowledge around accessibility and share what he knows via courses and workshops. He often focuses on technologies that can be used to test accessibility or enhance accessibility for all, such as EquatIO and Read&Write. Finally, he is currently helping adapt the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) for Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility (IDEA) resource to the UWindsor context.
