Bridget Nicholls
Bridget is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Sociology & Criminology. Prior to joining academia, she worked in a myriad of paid and unpaid labour which taught her valuable skills to assist in her roles as a graduate assistant and a research assistant. She holds a BA in labour studies and an MA in social justice and equity studies from Brock University and was recently appointed Associate Fellow to the Oxford Centre for Animal Ethics. She has been invited to give guest lectures in two Canadian universities as well as for the Ronald E. McNair Scholars Program in the United States. Bridget’s passion for teaching and learning extends across species; she volunteers in her community to change lives by raising and training future service dogs for a local organization.
