Isabelle Barrette-Ng
Dr. Isabelle Barrette-Ng is professor and head of the Department of Integrative Biology at the University of Windsor. She was awarded the 3M National Teaching Fellowship in 2018, the highest national award for teaching and educational leadership in Canada. Her practice is built on the use of flipped learning to support student learning in content-heavy, large-enrollment science courses. Dr. Barrette-Ng is also highly involved in faculty development programs. She is the founding director of SAGES (SoTL Advancing Graduate Education in STEM), a program dedicated to supporting STEM graduate students develop an evidence-based, reflective teaching practice.
